Privacy Policy

Canary respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use scancanary.com and @CanaryRugScanBot.
What we collect
- Scan usage — contract addresses scanned, timestamp, source (web, API, Telegram), and hashed IP or API key ID for rate limiting.
- Pro accounts — email from Stripe checkout, subscription status, API key metadata (hashed key, prefix, tier).
- Telegram — your Telegram user ID when you link a Pro key or use the bot (to enforce Pro access).
- Payment — Stripe processes payments; we do not store card numbers.
What we do not collect
- We do not connect to your wallet, read private keys, or execute transactions.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How we use data
- Provide scans and enforce free/Pro rate limits.
- Manage subscriptions and API keys.
- Improve reliability and prevent abuse.
Third-party services
Scans use public blockchain data and services such as Solana Tracker, Jupiter (honeypot simulation), and third-party risk APIs. Their policies apply to data they process.

Retention
Usage logs and API key records are kept as long as needed for billing, support, and abuse prevention. You may request deletion of account-related data via support.
